i've been stitching for about fifteen years. i picked it up back in high school while i was digging around in my mom's craft stash. i got into drafting patterns more formally around 2016, and started my first project, campxstitch in 2022. i've evolved my brand into prettystitchmachine after moving across the world to wellington aotearoa new zealand with live with my now husband, which is where the whole concept of machine came from. when i get really into a project, it's hard to stop til it's done and he will say i'm like a machine. we brainstormed for a bit, prettystitchmachine was suggested in that session, then found a copy of prettyhatemachine while out browsing vinyl in town. that felt like a sign, we hid it in the back and went back the next day and it was still there so it was decided.

prettystitchmachine was my full time focus since immigrating to aotearoa new zealand. i have since moved back to chicagoland and am back haunting the blood bank at my community hospital on night shift while we work to immigrate my husband stateside.

all my designs are hand drafted (with the help of some software) to create bright, bold cross stitch, usually while i listen to music, watch pro wrestling, or watching an x-file. 1-800-BANG-MY-LINE anytime, e-mail or message me!
